Ahwazi ill Prisoners with Fake Charges Against Them

On the 12th of March 2019 a young prisoner named Ahmad Reza Sulaimani (Ahmad Adel Mansour al-Tamimi) was born in 1999 and was arrested in a tourist neighborhood in Al-Ahwaz city. After a period of torture at the secret detention center of the Iranian intelligence agency he was transferred to section 8 of Sheyban prison and his file transferred to section 12 of the Revolutionary Court. In his file, he was “Charged” with action against national security.

Another Ahwazi citizen prisoner in Sheyban prison suffers from cancer, the Iranian forces refused to allow him to go to hospital for any treatment. Mohammad Sawari 19 years old from Alawi suburb (Haya al-Thawra) was arrested at the end of July 2018. Mohammad Sawari now has cancer in Sheyban Prison, and his condition is very severe and requires treatment at a hospital.

He was subjected to the most severe physical torture for several months in the Guard Corps prison. Relatives of Mohammad say that they have recently made great efforts to free their child to be treat in a hospital, but the court did not allow him to be transferred to a hospital. On July 24, 2018 Mohammad, along with two others, was detained by IRGC intelligence, on charges of firing branches of the bank. Residents close to these people say that these people do not accept the accusations attributed to them.

On another matter, Ahwazi activists expressing their concern about the health another Ahwazi citizen, Ameneh Zaheri Sari. About few month ago an article was published by the Ahwazi Centre for Human Rights regarding Ameneh Zaheri Sari and her family’s arrest. Iranian Revolutionary Guards arrested Hattab Zaheri Sari 57-year-old and his son Amin Zaheri Sari 22-year-old and his daughter Ameneh Zaheri Sari 24-year-old, after being summoned to a Revolutionary Guards headquarters in northeast of Ahwaz.

Ameneh is imprisoned at Sepidar Prison, where she suffers from acute swelling in some of her body parts for several days. Clinic of Sepidar Prison Clinic says that she should be treated at the hospital without indicating the cause of inflation. However, despite the fact that her family willin g to pay to bail their daughter out (which the Ahwaz Revolutionary Court asked for three billion Toman to bail the prisoner out) but the judicial and security authorities prevented the departure of this prisoner.

Ameneh relatives say that his health condition is deteriorating day by day, and so far, the cause of this swelling is unclear and requires urgent and continuous medical care in the hospital. Ameneh a resident of Alawi suburb (Haya al-Tawra), a graduate of the Accounting who was detained by the Iranian intelligence officers one day after her brother and father was arrested on the morning of the 8th of November 2018.

Branch 12 of the Ahwaz Revolutionary Court’s Investigation for the Appeal for Amin 7 billion which is about 166251 USD and Ameneh 3 billion which is about 71250 USD”, as well as Branch 4 of the Revolutionary Court of Ahwaz wrote for another member of this family “Ali 3 billion which is about 71250 USD. The relatives of Ameneh said: “We have prepared a 3 billion to bail out Ameneh, but the court has prevented his release”.
